FSC® CERTIFICATION
Why raw materials matter
The majority of raw materials used by MAZUS are corrugated cardboard and carton, both of which originate from forest-based resources. Yes, even recycled cardboard was once produced from wood products. For this reason, sustainability and the responsible use of these resources are core priorities for MAZUS.
Turning environmental commitments into action
To ensure that our environmental commitments are more than just intentions and promises, we have taken real action. We introduced procedures in our company’s management and production that meet strict standard requirements and voluntarily obtained the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) Chain of Custody certification (SCS-COC-007451), thus joining FSC®’s mission to promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world’s forests.
What is the FSC® Chain of Custody?
The FSC® Chain of Custody (CoC) tracks the path of a product from the forest—or from the point of recycling—through all stages of processing, manufacturing, and distribution until it is either sold with the FSC® label and/or finished and marked with an FSC® tag.
Responsible sourcing in MAZUS production
The forest-based products that MAZUS purchases as FSC® certified raw materials, uses in production, and sells as FSC® certified goods come from responsibly managed forests, recycled inputs, and other controlled sources. Therefore, by choosing FSC® certified packaging produced by MAZUS, our clients can be confident that their packaging choice contributes to forest preservation, biodiversity protection, and the support of an ethical supply chain.

ISO CERTIFICATIONS
While our current focus is not only on FSC® certification, MAZUS continuously strives to improve its operational standards and grow as a responsible and innovative organization. That’s why we are actively preparing for ISO certification. These international standards will help us ensure the highest requirements for operations, environmental protection, product and service quality, and data security:
